The BSc Biological Sciences programme provides you with a comprehensive introduction to the biosciences, equipping you with knowledge and skills in a range of areas, from bioinformatics and biotechnology, to cell signalling, genomics, and structural biology.

This programme is one of the first in the world to be awarded international accreditation by the Royal Society of Biology.

By the time you graduate from the BSc Biological Sciences programme, you will have:

The teaching labs here at XJTLU are great with modern facilities containing state-of-the-art equipment. The lecturers and tutors are extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and accessible. The department provides many opportunities for independent study and research including a summer undergraduate research fellowship.
